TAG Heuer Debuts Formula 1 Solargraph

Just released by TAG Heuer at Watches & Wonders 2025 is the much-anticipated new Formula 1 Solargraph collection. After last year’s Formula 1 Kith collection, a lot of watch enthusiasts have expected a mainstream reiteration of the 1980s classic but the Solar-powered twist is such a refreshing spin considering how easy it charges and the 15-year battery life. The Formula 1 Solargraph collection debuts with nine models, three of which will be in the core collection and six which will be limited production. In addition to the solar powered movement, this collection also introduces TH-Polylight, a new material for the brand that is light and resilient.

While the original models were done in 28 or 34mm and the Kith collaborations were 35mm, the new Formula 1 Solargraph are done in a 38mm wide case that measures 9.9mm thick and has a 45.2mm lug-to-lug measurement. The three standard production models are done in black and white dial with black bezel on bracelet, blue dial with matching blue bezel on bracelet, and a vibrant red model. The six limited edition models come in black and red, black and yellow, blue and black, white and green, white and red, and green and red.

The new Formula 1 Solargraph watches stay true to the design language of the original while keeping things a little fresh and contemporary. The “daisy-shaped bidirectional bezel is done in the aforementioned TH-Polylight material as are the cases for the green and red (Ref. WBY1160.FT8085). the black and red (Ref. WBY1161.FT8086), blue and black (Ref. WBY1162.FT8105) models. The black and white dial with black bezel (Ref. WBY1111.BA0042), blue on blue (WBY1112.BA0042), white and red (Ref. WBY111A.FT8106), and white and green (WBY1113.BA0042) come in a steel sandblasted case. Finally, the black and red (Ref. WBY1114.FT8084), black and yellow (Ref. WBY1117.FT8087) are done in black DLC sandblasted cases. All the new Formula 1 Solargraph watches have an enclosed case back concealing the Calibre TH50-00.

Each of the new Formula 1 Solargraph watches are priced at CHF 1,750 on rubber strap and CHF 1,850 on matching steel bracelet and will be released concurrently with the Miami GP, Singapore GP, Monza GP, Barcelona GP, Mexico GP, and Silverstone GP. You can learn more at tagheuer.com
