The DS Action Diver 40.5mm marks a milestone as the first Certina watch to feature the next evolution of the DS system: the “New DS Concept Extreme Shock Resistance”. This concept is the product of intensive research into the shock resistance of wristwatches. Cutting-edge equipment and extensive testing have been used to develop an ultra-robust design that raises the benchmark yet again. The secret behind the success of this concept, is the tried-and-tested qualities that equip each model. Extremely scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, O-ring seal on the setting stem, ultra-thin seal dial support, screwed movement holder, and a reinforced caseback.
