Product Description

The OH no Modul is a collaboration between Paulin and the San Jose type foundry OH no. This partnership was born out of Paulin and OH no’s mutual love of typography and their particular fondness for the font Obviously, used across Paulin’s identity. The expressive dial design references California’s design history, with a colour palette that takes cues from local design icons Sister Corita Kent and Saul Bass. In contrast to the uniform geometry of the original Modul, the dial features OH no’s free-form bespoke numerals. Their interlocking layout playfully tests legibility, with exaggerated emphasis on the 12, 3, 6 and 9. The watch is powered by the reliable Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101, visible through an exhibition caseback. The case diameter is 39mm, which works for almost every wrist size, and at 9.7mm thick with a premium machined sapphire box-crystal and a pronounced crown, it’s a very comfortable wear.
