Brand History

BALL Watch

After a fatal train collision in 1891 in Kipton, Ohio caused by a timing error, Webb C. Ball was appointed to standardize a timing system that would prevent deadly accidents, later founding Ball Watch Company in Cleveland, Ohio to provide accurate watches for use by railroad engineers. Today, Ball Watch Company is headquartered in Switzerland and known for a tech-forward approach to tool watches which utilize tritium illumination for nighttime legibility.
