Muhle Glashutte has been in constant operation for five generations of family ownership since 1869. The family-owned company was a key contributor to the growing reputation of Glashutte as a watchmaking hub over the last 150 years and had its focus on the production of a variety of timekeeping instruments such as speedometers, clocks for motorcycles and cars, as well as being a leading manufacturer of marine chronometers.
