Our Favorite Watches at the 2026 Oscars

Tonight is the grand finale of this year's awards season, with the 98th Academy Awards closing things out with a bang. With almost more glamour, fashion, and celebrity than the average mortal can stand, all these ingredients add up to one of the most exciting watch-spotting nights of the year. 

We put our editors to the task of combing through wrists on the red carpet for the most compelling, shocking, surprising, and awe-inspiring watches in the game, which they have so graciously curated for your viewing pleasure down below. Let us know your favorite in the comments section!

Matt Friend: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (Ref. 126518LN)

Comedian and actor (and watch shopping guest) Matt Friend wears a yellow gold Rolex Daytona Ref. 126518LN which debuted last year in 2025 and is a little special due to its combination of a yellow gold case and a turquoise lacquer dial that evokes the highly collectible vintage “Stella” dials.

Hudson Williams: Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas

Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams wears a Bulgari Serpenti Ref. 103434 in steel with a single coil and diamond-set face, retailing for $11,200.

Kevin O'Leary: Cartier Crash Skeleton and A Ruby-Set Rolex Daytona 

Kevin O’Leary double-wrists with a platinum Cartier Crash Skeleton Ref. W7200001 and an off-catalog Rolex Daytona Ref. 126599 TRU done in white gold with baguette-set rubies on the bezel and dial.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Rolex 1908 Platinum 

Rolex Testimonee and Best Actor nominee for his work in One Battle After Another Leonardo DiCaprio went the dressy route with the 1908 Ref. 52506 in a platinum case with a ice blue guilloché dial that retails for $33,600.

Ryan Coogler: Cartier Tank à Guichets

Sinners director Ryan Coogler wears a Cartier Tank à Guichets jumping hour watch that was released last year as a revival of a vintage classic. This is the platinum version which retails at $55,000.

Michael B. Jordan: Vintage Piaget 9297 Tank

Best Actor for Sinners nominee Michael B. Jordan is wearing a vintage Piaget Tank 9297 done in a rectangular case with a half-pave diamond-set center dial dating back to the 1970s.

Amy Madigan: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m

The Weapons star took home the Best Supporting Actress award at this year's Oscars, and was seen wearing a two-tone steel and Moonshine gold take on the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M with plenty of diamond-set sparkle on the bezel and dial. 

Nicole Kidman: Vintage Omega

Nicole Kidman has a habit of wearing teeny tiny vintage Omega watches during awards season over more contemporary models, and this year was no exception. At this year's Oscars, the actress was rocking an itty-bitty cocktail watch similar to the circa 1966 Saphette piece seen in the image above. 

Timothée Chalamet: Urban Jurgensen Platinum UJ-2

The Marty Supreme star has been wearing Urban Jürgensen for several award shows at this point and it appears that he opted for a white strap on the platinum UJ-2 (most likely to match his suit). A piece of IYKYK independent watchmaking, the UJ-2 is priced at just around $131,510.

Kumail Nanjiani: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton

After wearing a  Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar in white gold with a red dial at this year’s Golden Globes, Kumail donned another Overseas Perpetual Calendar, this time with a Ref. 4300V/220R-B642 Ultra-Thin Skeleton in a pink gold case.

Shaboozey: Chopard 18K L'Heure du Diamant

Singer Shaboozey went for a full diamond-set white gold piece from Chopard’s L'Heure du Diamant collection. Obviously, while it’s technically marketed as a ladies' collection, that’s more of a suggestion.

Kieran Culkin: Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph King Gold 42

Last year’s Best Actor in a Supporting Role award winner (when he wore a gold Omega De Ville) wore a Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph in a 42mm King Gold case that retails for $32,400.

Cole Walliser: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar White Ceramic

Cole Walliser is a longtime member of the watch fam and creator of the GlamBOT camera system you’ve seen at every red carpet for the last few years. He wore an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in a white ceramic case, which retailed for around $94,000 when it launched, but trades for closer to $300,000 these days.
