Short on Time
Award season is here, and with it comes those red carpet moments that tend to divide watch lovers. On one hand, it can be fun to see which watch you can spot on the wrists of Hollywood’s best; on the other, it can be a little misleading, with so much of the event being led by styling choices rather than those of the actors and actresses themselves. I have been doing this whole “watch spotting” thing for a long time, and I truly feel there is a middle ground, especially as watch enthusiasm has grown over the years. More and more do we see our favorite screen stars wearing watches that they either own and wear proudly (looking at you Jason Bateman), or indicate their interest when it comes to some wild vintage choices (Paul Mescal, Michael B. Jordan).
Then there’s the Timothée Chalamets of the world who can be spotted wearing everything from a Simon Brette to Urban Jürgensen (spoiler alert for later in this very article). The Golden Globes kicked off the official awards season and tonight saw a wide swath of notables wearing perhaps some of the most diverse watches to grace a red carpet ever. We’re talking everything from Dwayne Johnson in a blindingly blinged out Chopard to Will Arnett wearing the most precious (and probably the heaviest) watch on Earth. Tonight, Leo took a break from the Land Dweller, and Clooney got colorful. This year’s Globes red carpet restored my faith in the awards watch spotting game so much so that we are here to deliver some of our favorite watches we spotted at this year’s show. So without further ado, here are the watches of the 2026 Golden Globes. Be sure to let us know which was your favorite in the comments below.

Rolex testimonee and Best Actor nominee for his role in One Battle After Another, Leonardo DiCaprio wore a Daytona Le Mans in white gold (Ref. 126529LN). Released back in 2023, this is the very rare version of the Daytona released to commemorate the 24 Hours of Le Mans race that was produced for just a year. While these retailed for around $50,000 they sell for $220,000-$320,000 on the secondary market.
[toc-section heading="Timothée Chalamet: Urban Jürgensen UJ-2"]

The Marty Supreme star, who took home the Golden Globe for Best Actor In A Musical or Comedy Film, has also become something of a watch-spotting icon these days, wearing Cartier and even something as niche as Petermann Bédat. He’s recently taken to wearing the Urban Jürgensen UJ-2 which is done in a platinum case with guilloché dial. Honestly, it’s one of the more refined IYKYK watch picks (even if it’s placed by a stylist) and I think Timmy knows what he’s doing by grabbing the attention of the most plugged-in enthusiasts out there. The UJ-2 is something of an entry-level offering from the brand, but the price of just north of $100,000 has the term “entry-level” doing some heavy lifting.
[toc-section heading="Michael B. Jordan: Patek Philippe Hour Glass Ref. 1593P"]

The star of Sinners and Best Actor nominee wore one of the most unexpected watches of the night, the Patek Philippe “Hour Glass” Ref. 1593P, which is a vintage mid-century piece done in curved rectangular case with a beveled crystal. These are really rare and a fairly obscure pick, so Jordan’s definitely getting some good advice on the watch front. One of these sold at auction back in 2018 for just around $80,000.
[toc-section heading="Kumail Nanjiani: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin"]

Kumail Nanjiani had previously worn a Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Tourbillon at last year’s SAG awards and he might stick with them for this award season too. He wore a pretty stunning Overseas Perpetual Calendar in white gold with a beautiful deep red dial. This is just pure horological class in an inarguably handsome package. The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Ref. 4300V/220G-H151 is priced at $126,000.
[toc-section heading="Dwayne Johnson: Chopard Alpine Eagle Frozen Summit"]

Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) got a lot of attention for his role as Mark Kerr in Benny Safdie’s The Smashing Machine. In fact, it got him a Best Actor in a Drama Motion Picture nomination. Johnson isn’t a Chopard ambassador but he is often seen wearing an Alpine Eagle and he brought out the big guns for this year’s award show, wearing the million-dollar Alpine Eagle Frozen Summit in a white gold case and bracelet entirely set in diamonds. This one is quite literally $1,000,000.
[toc-section heading="Kevin O’Leary: Cartier Asymetrique and F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance"]

Mr. Wonderful himself has gotten a lot of love as an actor for his performance in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme and it should come as no surprise that he double-wristed at this year’s Golden Globes. He wore an F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance with a red and black dial on his left hand and a Cartier Tank Asymétrique Skeleton on his right. Naturally, both were on red straps. The Journe trades for between $500,000-$900,000, while the Cartier is priced at around $70,000.
[toc-section heading="Will Arnett and Jason Bateman: Rolex Daytona Ref. 6263 and Deepsea Yellow Gold"]

The bromantic actors and co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast went on stage together wearing two very different Rolexes. Bateman wore a vintage panda-dial Daytona Ref. 6263, which is referred to as the “Paul Newman Big Red” due to the red Daytona insignia. Arnett, on the other hand, wore the solid gold Deepsea with blue dial and bezel that comes in at a whopping 320 grams of, well, solid goldness. The Daytona Ref. 6263 is vintage, so it’s tricky, but these regularly exceed six figures while the Deepsea is priced at $65,000.
[toc-section heading="Cole Walliser: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar White Ceramic"]

Cole Walliser is a longtime member of the watch fam and creator of the GlamBOT camera system you’ve seen at every red carpet for the last few years. He wore an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar in a white ceramic case which retailed for around $94,000 when it launched but trades for closer to $300,000 these days.
[toc-section heading="Jennifer Lawrence: Vintage Longines"]

Longines ambassador J-Law went the vintage route with a platinum and diamond piece from the brand dating back to 1916.
[toc-section heading="Jeremy Allen White: Louis Vuitton Tambour"]

Jeremy Allen White won a Golden Globe last year in 2025 and got two nominations this year, so the LVMH ambassador has been having a pretty good run lately. He wore a Louis Vuitton Tambour done in a grey and gold two-tone case to this year’s award ceremony, which is a pretty nice pick. The dressy integrated-bracelet sport watch was refreshed back in 2023 and this model has a retail price of $29,800.
[toc-section heading="George Clooney: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise"]

George Clooney and Omega have one of the most longstanding and iconic partnerships out there. The ambassador and legitimate A-lister wore a simple and confident steel Seamaster Aqua Terra with a beautiful gradient turquoise dial. It's probably one of the most attainable watches you'll see by a star of this caliber on the red carpet, with a price of $7,400.
[toc-section heading="Vince Gilligan: Rolex Daytona Ref. 116519"]

Creator of the much-hyped series Pluribus (not to mention Breaking Bad), Vince Gilligan wore a Rolex Daytona Ref. 116519, which is a white-gold model on leather strap. This is a black racing dial you don’t see often and I can imagine it’s one that generates some pretty divisive opinions. These aren’t in production anymore but can be picked up for around $30,000.
[toc-section heading="Paul Mescal: Cartier Tortue Paris"]

Paul Mescal actually has a pretty impressive collection of Cartiers, so it’s no surprise that he pulled out a rare “Paris” Tortue. This tonneau-shaped dress watch is about as refined as it gets and it will be interesting to see how Mescal’s collection develops. These are really not on the market often but go for around $10,000.
[toc-section heading="Matthew Rhys: Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph"]

One half of one of Hollywood’s most loved power couples, Matthew Rhys was nominated for Best Actor in Mini-Series or Motion Picture for his role in The Beast In Me. He wore a Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph King Gold in a 42mm case, which is an interesting choice since the Big Bang tends to get more attention as a collection. It’s cool and unexpected, which checks out with Rhys. These retail for $32,400.
[toc-section heading="Glen Powell: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Moonshine Gold"]

Omega has been a mainstay on the red carpet for years now and it’s no surprise to see Glen Powell fulfilling his ambassadorial duties at this year’s Globes. Powell wore a Seamaster Aqua Terra in Omega’s proprietary Moonshine gold with a vibrant blue dial. It’s bold without being flashy — which basically sounds like Glen Powell in a nutshell, right? This watch sells for $39,000, which seems fair, all things considered.
