Fifty Fathoms

The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms collection is a legendary lineup of dive watches that helped define modern dive watch design. Introduced in 1953, it was one of the first purpose-built dive watches, developed in collaboration with French Navy combat divers. It featured a highly legible dial, exceptional water resistance of 50 fathoms (91 meters), and a rotating bezel—originally bi-directional—that allowed divers to track immersion time.
