Omega has been the official watch of James Bond, cinema’s most famous spy, since 1995 and the Swiss watchmaker has provided wristwear for Agent 007 in every Bond movie over those three thrilling decades, from Pierce Brosnan’s debut in Goldeneye to Daniel Craig’s swan song in No Time to Die, with no end in sight. In addition, Omega has created tribute timepieces during that time for Bond’s legions of fans, all of these watches hailing from the brand’s nautically inspired Seamaster collection.

As we all anxiously await the announcement of Bond’s next big screen adventure (and heatedly debate who should be the next actor to portray him), Omega has opted not to wait for the filmmakers before releasing its latest Bond-themed watches, this time with an intriguing thematic twist. The six new Seamaster Diver 300M editions dropping today divide their iconography between that of Bond himself and that of his archenemies, the sinister worldwide criminal organization Spectre.

The new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre editions all feature the 42mm case of the core Seamaster Diver models, the familiar scalloped divers’ bezel, wave-pattern dial, and skeletonized hands, and the co-axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806. Of the six releases, only two are available individually, both in stainless steel. The James Bond edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) offers a grade 5 titanium bezel ring and a blue dial with the collection’s ocean-inspired wave pattern.

The Spectre edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) embraces the dark side of the Bond mythos with a black ceramic bezel ring and a black dial with a grained finish. Each watch bears a specialized symbol on its movement’s rotor, visible through the clear caseback: on the Bond editions, it’s the iconic spiralling gun barrel frame with the stylized “007” in the center; on the Spectre editions, it’s the Octopus badge that identifies members of the clandestine group.

The other four watches are limited editions of 77, and available only in two-watch sets, one devoted to Bond, the other to Spectre. Each set contains one stainless steel watch on a brushed mesh bracelet and one platinum-gold watch on a leather strap. The steel editions (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.005 for Bond, Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.029 for Spectre), which feature the characteristics described above, have their limited-edition numbers engraved on special plates at 9 o’clock; all four models have wave-pattern casebacks secured by Omega’s waterproof Naiad lock.
The platinum-gold watches are distinguished by a polished ceramic bezel insert with a diving scale inscribed in platinum. Their dials are in 18k white gold, with the Bond edition (Ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001) featuring the 007 gunbarrel motif on a blue PVD gradient surface and the Spectre edition (Ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001) finished in dark gray with the Octopus emblem. Another defining feature of the precious-metal limited editions: their rotors are made from Omega's Moonshine Gold, a proprietary alloy introduced in 2019 for the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 (and for Omega’s special Speedmaster edition celebrating it).

The limited-edition sets are delivered in on-theme presentation boxes with a slew of extra accessories with either the Bond or Spectre iconography: an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool, cufflinks, cord bracelet, loupe, leather travel pouch and card holder, and certificate of authenticity. All the watches are available now, with the individual Seamaster Diver 300M Bond and Spectre editions in steel priced at $8,600, and the two-watch platinum-gold sets both priced at $89,800.
