We certainly have looked at what $1,000 can get you in watches over the years; however, with prices seemingly on an upward spiral for everything these days, we thought now would be a great time to look at roughly $1,000 will get you in 2026. This budget range is commonly discussed as it is right at the cusp of that physiological sweet spot before seeing three digits after the comma.
In this video, we will look at the best of the best from industry’s biggest names, while also having a robust section dedicated to microbrands at the end, with some of my favorites. For this exercise, we’ll focus on watches from around $850 to $1,000, with wiggle room for a 10% margin at the top, up to $1,100 in certain cases given the amount of watches that could be included if we jump to that range, as it feels like a disservice to you watching this video if we didn’t mention pieces that were fractionally more.
