We Asked “Omega Seamaster Diver 300m In Aluminum Or Ceramic Bezel?” And You Voted. Who Won?

This past weekend we ran a poll on our Instagram (@teddybaldassarre) asking which Omega Seamaster Diver 300m in 42mm with wave pattern dial do you prefer: the newer version with aluminum bezel on mesh bracelet or the trusty model from 2018 with ceramic bezel on the '90s-evocative bracelet? With just shy of 1,000 votes cast, the results were pretty tight. And that's not surprising considering the also-close poll we did asking if you prefer the neo-vintage or contemporary Rolex GMT-Master II.

Yes, the newer but more old-school SMP300 Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.010 won with 54% of the vote, which is basically the same share of the vote the neo-vintage GMT-Master II with aluminum bezel got in our previous poll, so maybe there's a pattern emerging here. Not too far behind is the SMP300 Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.001 with 46% of the vote, which is no slouch.

Stay tuned for our next poll and make sure to let us know if you’ve got a good question that you want the community to weigh in on!
